2.33 billion people are currently facing food insecurity. Of that 900 million people are severely food insecure, posing grave risks to their health and well-being.
700 million people live below the $ 2.15-per-day poverty line worldwide.

Like you, we find this unacceptable. We believe every life has value. Because of that, we are determined to bring help and hope to those who are hurting. That is why we, as a church, are partnering with Convoy of Hope and Ampero International to help change children's lives through feeding programs and education.

Convoy of Hope

Convoy of Hope is a faith-based organization with a driving passion to feed the world through children's feeding initiatives, community outreach, and disaster response. From feeding over 693,000 children every weekday and empowering over 61,000 women and 39,000 farmers to serving over 3.7 million disaster survivors and over 1.2 million people in working poor communities, Convoy of Hope has seen firsthand the transformational power of a meal. The days, months, or years a child spends without proper nutrition create problems that last a lifetime. But when you feed children through Convoy of Hope, you become part of the solution.

Convoy of hope

amparo International

Amparo International is a Canadian-based Non-Profit Organization working in Nicaragua, led by Brent and Michelle Ellingson, who are part of the Main Street Church family and supported missionaries. The Ellingson’s were impacted by the overwhelming lack of resources, extreme poverty, and profound need in the remote community of El Mango, Nicaragua. Sensing God’s call on their lives, they sold all they had and moved to Nicaragua. Since then, they have built a school serving over 200 students from preschool to secondary school. The school serves 8 communities along the river, hundreds of families, and an area population of over 5,000 people. Now, students from up to 3hrs away along the Kurínwas River come to study at Colegio Amparo.

Part of our ONE DAY offering will go to support Amparo's phase 3 building project of 3 new classrooms.
