What is celebrate recovery?

The purpose of MSCR Celebrate Recovery is to celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through the 12 Steps and 8 Recovery Principles. Through this process, we experience real and lasting change.

We open the door to healing by sharing our experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another—and by becoming willing to accept God’s grace as the solution to our struggles.
As we work and apply these biblical principles, we grow spiritually. We begin to experience freedom from addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors, leading to greater peace, serenity, and joy. Most importantly, we develop a stronger, more personal relationship with God and with others.

As we continue to walk the road of recovery, we discover our personal, loving, and forgiving Higher Power—Jesus Christ.
