We are so excited to finally be able to see you in person! We know you have lots of questions, and we are doing everything we can to navigate through this difficult time together in grace and wisdom. 

I’m not comfortable returning to church yet. Will online services continue to be offered? 

Yes! We encourage you to join us online until you feel comfortable attending in person. Our weekend worship experience will continue to be streamed at 9am and 10:30am at www.mainstreetchurch.live, on Facebook and on YouTube. 

Will Main Street Church be limiting capacity in their buildings? 

Yes. The BC Health authority is only allowing gatherings of up to 50 people. Because we have separate entrances to our Chapel and Auditorium, we are able to offer two gatherings of 50 people at the same time. Additionally, we have the ability to split the Auditorium into two Zones, Zone A and Zone B. You will be asked to register for one of those venues and then follow the instructions given regarding entry. All the details you need to know will be included with your registration. 

How will Main Street be enabling social distancing in its locations? 

We will be utilizing signage and Staff who will guide, direct, and instruct attendees when they arrive, with all the protocols that need to be followed. We will space seats and provide pod seating for families. While services won’t be as full as normal, we’ll still sing, open God’s Word, give an opportunity to give and encourage one another. 

Are service times changing on Sundays? 

Yes. Beginning May 30th, we will be offering two service times – 9am and 10:30am.
Once a service concludes we will be asking you to exit the building to enable cleaning between services and to adhere to Provincial guidelines regarding social distancing. These new times will also be implemented with our online services. 

What time should I arrive for service? 

To help us properly clean and sanitize the building between services as well as begin our services on time, we ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of service. Services will begin at exactly 9am and 10:30 and doors will be closed 5 minutes after start times 

What if I can’t make the service I registered for? 

If you are not able to attend the service you registered for please email matt@mainstreetchurch.ca  with your name and names of those in your family. Your spots will then be cancelled and opened for someone else to take. 

Will certain doors be marked for exit and entrance only? 

Yes, entrances and exits will be marked to enable the proper flow of traffic. 

Will restrooms be open? 

Yes, all restrooms will be open and will undergo routine cleaning. 

I’m new, how do I get connected? 

If you haven’t already, we encourage you to fill out a connect card or email office@mainstreetchurch.ca and we’ll be in contact with you. 

Will Main Street Church be screening those who attend in person to make sure they are not sick? 

We will not be taking temperatures or screening on site. We ask everyone to use good judgment: if you are feeling ill or have a family member who is feeling ill, please stay home and participate in our online experience. 

Are masks and/or gloves required? 

They are required at this time, and there will be masks available upon request at both venues. 

How is Main Street cleaning its facilities? 

We will conduct regular cleanings of our areas between services to ensure proper sanitation. Additionally, hand sanitizer stations will be located throughout all venues.
